IECMHC helps adults help kids succeed. It is a strategy where a professional with mental health expertise helps adults working with children know better how to support children's social and emotional health and development. The adults could be teachers, home visitors, or parents and other caregivers. This intervention is evidence-based, showing that adults know better how to support kids and that kids have better health and education outcomes. It is also very cost effective.
